ALLEN PARISH HOSPITAL MEDICAL CLINIC GRAND OPENING CEREMONY HELD

On Friday, December 14th, Allen Parish Hospital celebrated the grand opening of the new Allen Parish Hospital Medical Clinic in Oberlin. Dr. M. Majid Nazim, primary care physician, along with local dignitaries and members of the Allen Parish Hospital board of directors, was present to greet members of the local community and speak about the much needed addition of primary healthcare services in Oberlin. Allen Parish Hospital CEO and Administrator also spoke at the ceremony stating, “This new facility marks the beginning of direct access to primary healthcare in Oberlin. Allen Parish Hospital is excited to be a central part of the healthcare of this community and contribute to the total health of the population.”

A former resident of Alexandria, Dr. Nazim served as Chief Resident at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) Shreveport – Family Medicine Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. He is a graduate of Dow University of Health Sciences Center in Karachi, Pakistan. Prior to his residency at LSUHSC Shreveport, Dr. Nazim completed externships at Ochsner Clinic Foundation, Tulane University Health Sciences
Center, and State University of New York Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn.
