HOSPITAL RECEIVES DONATIONS FROM REEVES
SCHOOL 4-H CLUB
Reeves School 4-H Club donated several stuffed animals. October 2, 2007 -- Members of the Reeves School 4-H Club donated several stuffed animals to Allen Parish Hospital in Kinder, Louisiana. Club members sought donations in an effort to aid children receiving hospital care. Karen Lambert, Director of Marketing for Allen Parish Hospital, was on hand to accept the donation from the 4-H Club members. “The display of kindness on part of the Reeves High School 4-H Club exemplifies the great care and concern they have for their community. It is great to know that these young individuals are part of such an honorable club that promotes active involvement in the community. We look forward to working closely with them in the future,” stated Karen Lambert.
Each month, 4-H Club members take part in a community service project, such as the stuffed animal collection. Each community service project completed helps the club earn points in their effort to attain “best club” standing.
